That includes shorter amounts of massage that I incorporate into my facial services, as well as the more full body massage sessions. Regular massage stimulates hormones such as dopamine and oxytocin, while reducing hormones such as cortisol, all of which leads to a decrease in anxiety, depression, and cravings for sweets, while increasing feelings of pleasure and well-being, and strengthening your immune system. Starting at the end of September, my massage sessions include an autumn blend of herbal oils, and facials include herbal teas for the skin, plus the herbal oils. This Falling Leaves blend uses marshmallow root, turmeric, and cardamom, among others, for a hydrating, mildly warming, and comforting botanical hug.
