CranioSacral Therapy & Visceral Manipulation with Alicia Berg
CranioSacral Therapy & Visceral Manipulation are manual therapies in the osteopathic tradition. The treatments involve gentle mobilization of the tissues surrounding the brain, spinal cord, organs, and throughout the fascia (connective tissue) of the body. These manual therapies assist in treatment of functional, structural and somato-emotional imbalances, including musculoskeletal, and nerve pain, as well as cognitive, neural, respiratory, digestive, vascular, urogenital, and lymphatic dysfunction. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a type of extremely gentle massage that encourages the natural drainage of lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues, to reduce inflammation, edema and toxicity.
60, 75, or 90 Minute CranioSacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CTS) is a gentle structural alignment of the tissues that surround the brain & spinal cord to assist imbalances and traumas throughout the body. As CST works with the nervous system, it can influence bones, muscles, organs, emotions, and cognitive function, among other challenges.
The treatment uses gentle, non-invasive, hands-on techniques that encourage the release of the soft tissues around the brain and spinal cord, and throughout the fascia (connective tissue) of the body.

60, 75, or 90 Minute Visceral Manipulation Therapy
Visceral Manipulation is gentle mobilization of the organs to assist functional and structural imbalances throughout the body, including musculoskeletal, and nerve pain, as well as respiratory, digestive vascular, urogenital, and lymphatic dysfunction.
The treatment is a gentle compression, mobilization and elongation of the soft tissues.
The Therapeutic Value of Visceral Manipulation
Visceral Manipulation (VM) was developed by world-renowned French Osteopath and Physical Therapist Jean-Pierre Barral. Comparative studies found Visceral Manipulation beneficial for various disorders.
